No worries at all. I have always loved film-craft, so its a pleasure to write about. I am planning for my next educational piece to be about the distinction between storytelling and worldbuilding.

Confession....don't hate me. I didn't like the movie cause Crichton, the author, is my hero & movies failed to capture the world I imagined. Sorry. I know people love the movie & now I can appreciate it for what it was at the time.....but i sm one of those books to movies are not my fav.

Ive put off seeing Hail Mary too.

I would struggle to hate you. I can absolutely see why. I find that the formative experience is the one that always resonates the most. I don't love the Harry Potter films because for me they just didn't measure up to the world I imagined. But Jurassic Park the movie was my first contact with the story. I actually still haven't read the book. I should address that!
