I loved this and I so hope there's more! I haven't spent much time in the short-story section of substack and I'm so excited I found you from Gary Brogan. I love the feel of this world. I look forward to exploring the rest of the Atlas

A sort of pass the parcel challenge where the next chapter is handled by someone else with a new set of prompts. Unfortunately, no one entered last time, so if that happens again, I might see if I can keep going with it.
It has surprised me too. I'm curious to see where this goes as much as anyone else, what with it being a mostly unplanned writing exercise.
