I've always loved dinosaurs, and triceratops in particular. This lil story has been many years in the making, as I still treat it like a work in progress.
I realized as soon as I hit post how that made it sound 😂 I tried to google for other dinosaur types to pick the most horrendous one as my new adult favorite. But alas, cera has my heart. Once a favorite, always a favorite

That is very fair! I am a sucker for emotions as well, so it is likely not going to be an easy ride. Though, I do hope to end on a positive. So there is that. ☺️
I am the same personally. I was enamoured recently on a trip to the Tate Britain in london to see some of J.M.W. Turner’s sketchbooks, and they were so so good! I love his impressionistic seascapes, but as you say, there is a sense of aliveness in a sketch that is hard to replicate anywhere else.
I definitely hope to share more of this. It is by far one of my slowest projects, partly because the process of getting to a final page I am happy with is very hit and miss. But all that said, its one of the stories I am more excited by too. So that will keep me going.
Hehe you might pick up on some ‘themes’ as it goes along. Hence the name of the triceratops. 😉
