Aye, my confusion was what was this rabbit...why did it come through the grates and why is that man firing a shot gun in his house?!? Who does that? Children, property damage...oh right finish reading the story .... I did of course but those where my questions 😂
Haha yeah I had a question mark over the shotgun moment as well. In the end, I decided if someone was crazy enough to live over a burning mine, they might not mind so much. Especially because at that point, their home would have been kinda worthless anyway. But yes, it was a weird choice xD
